Why Do the British Drink Warm Beer?

Because Lucas makes their refrigerators!  Actually this is not Lucas' fault but I couldn't resist retelling a favorite MG joke.  In this case, the former dual 6V battery system has been replaced by a modern 12V battery in the trunk.  It seems that the shaking of the battery while driving has loosened the terminal clamps and the cable connection to them.  I discovered this one morning on my way to work (after taking the top down, rolling down the windows, and setting up my earbuds) when she wouldn't start.  After some cleaning and re-clamping, things improved although there are still some days that need the trickle charger.  Maybe Lucas is not yet off the hook.
