Caractacus will earn his stripes with this one...

This journey began when I was 14 years old (or so I remember).  Anyway, near that age, I was learning that one could repair a car from my Dad.  Somehow, shortly after that, I decided that it should be possible to also outdo whoever had designed the current car.  Specifically, I wanted to be an engineer who had worked on things with his (or her) own hands and brought that knowledge to the job.

That worked out to varying degrees.  In some inventions, I failed to apply my practical knowledge.  In others, I was amazed with the results.   So, I learned a thing or two but I have chosen a path that will certainly demand further learning.  Since I'm all about learning, I'm OK with diving off this cliff...

The track of a Honda S000 is 59"  The track of an MGB is 49".  Basic math would suggest a difference of 10", which, I believe is is 5" per side.  So, as my Dad always said, "We ain't never not done it yet!".  Let's go!
I believe these pictures are to scale.  The one above, shows what is about to land in my driveway on Friday.

This one shows what I have to shorten it into.  I think I'm going to buy a Saws-all...

Wish me luck and have #funwithcars !
